Our Chinese import boy, Star is now a US AKC champion!  He finished in Raleigh, NC in March, 2012.  Thanks to our handler, Paul Clas, for his excellent presentation of this beautiful boy.  He will return to his breeder/owner in China in Sept., 2012.

Introducing:

Am/Chinese Ch. Silversky's Super Star

Blade is now a champion!  Ch. Daystar's Dream Sword of the Spirit is the 6th champion for our girl, Ultima (Ch. Vanderbilt's Playin' The Game).  Thanks to Cathy Shott for her excellent grooming and handling of our boy, co-owned by VA Taz Samoyeds and Cherie A. Smith of Daystar Samoyeds.

Comet (Daystar's Flaming Star), out of Flame (Echo's Refining Fire at Daystar) and Star (Am./Chinese Ch. Silversky's Super Star) took best of breed Samoyed at a large match at the dog show in Raleigh, NC on March 23, 2012.  She was 3 months and one week old, and she behaved beautifully for her first entry into a "show" ring.  She made the cut in the group and took an honorable mention where the judge said "this is a fantastic little puppy."

Star is available at stud to approved bitches until he returns to China in September, 2012.

Star (Am./Chinese Ch. Silversky's Super Star) finished his US Championship with three majors (the 4-point major shown here was very out of coat in January, 2012 at the Fredericksburg, VA shows.  He took two more 3-point majors March 24-25 at the Raleigh, NC shows.  Thanks to handlers Kari McCloskey and Paul Clas for their excellent presentation of this beautiful boy.  He will be shown as a special hoping for his GrCh in limited showings near his home in Virginia until he returns to China in September, 2012.

Blade (Ch. Daystar's Dream Sword of the Spirit) took his first major under Judge Jane (Mrs. Robert) Forsyth at the Doswell, VA show on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 by going best of breed over special from the classes.  Our thanks to Cathy Shott for her excellent grooming and handling of our boy!  He went on to win six shows in a row and complete his Championship on the road with Cathy at Kentucky and Tennessee shows.

Petra (Daystar's Rock of Destiny) took a Puppy Working Group 1 at a match in Virginia Beach, Virginia on May 15, 2011.  She beat two other Samoyed puppies for the breed (both older than her) and went on to the Group 1 against a nice line-up of 6 working group puppies.  This movement photo was pulled out of a video of her taken during her group ring go-around.

Petra had never been on a show lead before this match, and she behaved like a trained show dog, happily gaiting on a loose lead, keeping her ears up and mostly standing in line and even letting me stack her!  I was thrilled with her natural show ability.

Purity (Ch. Vanderbilt's Paint A Prophecy) finished her championship with a major win in Perry, Georgia in April, 2011.  Thanks to Kari McCloskey, her handler, for a great win and for loving Purity!

Star (Chinese Ch. Silver Sky's Super Star) is a Prophet grandson out of Crystal bred to Jasper (Ch. White Magic's Rockstar).  Crystal was sold to Jessica in China.  Star finished his Chinese championship at 11 months old, and at the same show took a Reserve Best in Show.  Watch the video below, it's exciting!

Star is planning a trip to live with us for a year or more starting summer, 2011 to show in the US.  He will be available at stud after his second birthday in October, 2011.

Announcing a new champion! Ch. Daystar's Guardian of Light, "Gordy." He finished with back-to-back majors at the Salem, VA Shows in early August, 2010 under judges Mrs. Keke Kahn and Mrs. Robert Forsyth.
